Microsoft Rocks the Facebook Casba!
![]()
As you all know by now, Microsoft is the newest “partial” owner of Facebook.com. They purchase a stake of 5% for a cool $300-$500 million. What the heck is that? Yes, that puts the value of the social networking site at about $10 billion. The owner/creator of Facebook.com must be nuts to not have sold this company to Yahoo for the $1 billion that it offered. Oh yeah, getting $300-$500 million for a super SMALL part of the company is much smarter. He still owns most of the company and makes a lifetime of earnings at the same time.
Smooth move for Microsoft that outbid Google.com and AOL.com for that small share. Microsoft might be making grounds on taking over the search world. Wait, who am I kidding, that isn’t even close to happening, but yo have to agree that they are putting up quite a fight in the meantime!
