Computer Tips I Use Part III

Here is my third and last (for now) installment of the “Computer Tips I Use” portion on this blog.  Make sure you take a look at the other 2 parts to get all the tips.  Add your own to my comments section if you’d like.

Use Google Picasa to organize digital photos - I use this program because it allows me to make minor adjustments, add effect, organize, print and share my digital photos.  And best of all it’s free.

Set up signatures for multiple email accounts - If you have many email accounts coming into your Outlook Express, like I do, then why not set up different (if needed) signature files for each account?  This way you will always have your signature added when you click “new mail” or “reply” to an email from a specific account.  This works real nice if you have many business type email accounts.

Organize your hundreds of favorites - Some people use bookmark services, I just use the favorites right in my browser.  Every month I “control+D” more and more sites and I have so many I can’t seem to ever find the ones I want to view.  So, adding folders and organizing them by topic is always a nice way to keep your sanity while looking through your bookmarks.

You have some excellent tips on this site.

One tip I have is that Microsoft outlook is more than a email pogram. I currently have three businesses and use Outlook to organise my day and keep me on target for all the things I need to do. It reminds me to send birthday cards, book an appointment to see the accountant, down to write a new content for my website. It is a great way to get organised and it is all in one place with your emails.
