Internet Used to Be Friendly

Remember when the internet was user friendly?  You could check emails by going to Hotmail.com or Yahoo.com and sign in.  Now, you have Outlook Express, or some other email type program that will download the emails right from the web.

You used to be able to go to eBay.com and find the perfect gift for Christmas and have it shipped within a week, unbroken, not stolen or forgotten about.  Now you are dealing with scammers and large businesses that sometimes will forget about your little item.

Back in the day the internet didn’t have scams or evil people trying to “dupe” the rest of us.  Now, it’s almost like the internet has taken over the world.  In some cases it has.  Everything can be found there, even the not so nice stuff and everything can be done online now.  Order a pizza online?  That is crazy, well a couple of years ago maybe, but today it’s a reality.

The internet has come a long way and it couldn’t have without technology, right?  All the geeks and nerds (as they are sometimes called) are sitting around trying to code the next thing that will take the internet by storm.  Thank God for them, now I need to order a pizza!
