Nokia Takes Aim, at Apple of Course

Nokia Corp. unveiled new services and cell phones Wednesday that customers can use to download music and play games, a bid by the world’s largest mobile phone maker to challenge Apple Inc.’s higher-end iPhone, as well as iTunes and the iPod.
I am not sure what to think about this one. On the one hand Nokia is the largest phone maker, but on the other hand, Apple is the more popular one. Apple has a huge following and I am not sure they are untouchable, but damn close with all the new gadgets they come out with. With the release of the iPhone, Apple also announced plans to upgrade the iPod selection. They know exactly what they need to do to keep the customers wanting more!
The new Nokia phone will hold up to 6,000 songs, which is more than enough if you ask me, but I just don’t see them getting passed the popularity of Apple. We’ll see, stranger things have happened.
